Quality Assurance Officer Grade II (Health Information Sciences)
About the role
NIMR is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Officer Grade II (Health Information Sciences) to review research protocol documentation, support NatHREC ethics processes and track health research uptake in Tanzania. Responsibilities: - Assist in receiving and reviewing documentation submitted with research protocols. - Assist in compiling received research protocols for departmental quarterly and annual reports. - Assist in processing and preparing correspondence to researchers on the decisions of NatHREC. - Participate in the review and development of ethics processes, systems, policies, procedures and guidelines. - Participate in reviewing national health interventions to determine the extent to which research findings have been incorporated. - Participate in tracking current events, legislation and other issues of interest to NIMR. - Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor. Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of research documentation and ethics review processes.
- Good report writing and correspondence skills.
