About the role
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining core network infrastructure, resolving complex routing issues, leading network operations and deployments, evaluating new technologies, and supporting incident management for Habari Node Limited in Arusha. Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain core network infrastructure and long-haul transport systems • Resolve complex routing issues and provide senior-level support to L1/L2 teams • Lead critical maintenance, deployments, and disaster recovery testing • Design and lead proof-of-concept testing for new networking technologies and hardware • Perform initial incident triage, report incidents, and provide Level 1 operational support when needed How to apply: Send your application letter, CV and certificates, combined into one PDF document, by email to applications@habari.co.tz using the subject line "Application for Network Operations Center Engineer". Key requirements
- Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related technical education
- Network operations and NOC experience
- TCP/IP and OSI model knowledge
- Routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
- RF theory knowledge
- Network monitoring and ticketing system proficiency
- MTCNA certification
- MTCRE or CCNA certification
- Problem-solving, pressure management, and teamwork skills
