Internship with Art in Tanzania in Dar es Salaam. Medical & Public Health Intern, Hospital & Community | Tanzania (On site, Erasmus+) Recognized in 2026 by the Tanzanian Government Prime Minister's Office for Humanitarian Work and winner of the Community Development, International Volunteering & Sustainable Impact Excellence Award 2026. Type: Clinical placement / elective Location: Dar es Salaam and the Madale village area, Tanzania Duration: Flexible, year round · 8 hrs/day, Monday, Friday Ideal for: medicine, nursing, public health, midwifery, health sciences Skills: hospital rotations, community health, HIV counseling, nutrition, health education About the role Join an award winning program and rotate across hospital departments and village clinics in one placement. Choose from two tracks, a clinical hospital placement or public health & community education. What you'll do Complete hospital rotations: medicine, pediatrics, O&G, emergency, radiology, lab, psychiatry, orthopedics, ENT, pharmacy, HIV CTC, and nursing Deliver nutrition education and food security work Support sports, exercise and wellbeing, and art therapy Contribute to environmental health: water and sanitation Support HIV/AIDS counseling, testing and advocacy What you'll gain Multi department rotation experience Community public health fieldwork Clinical adaptability across settings A documented placement and Erasmus+ eligibility, with learning agreement support A certificate and reference letter on completion How to apply Start dates are flexible, so you choose when to begin.
