About the role

Turing is a San Francisco based research accelerator for frontier AI labs. It wants life scientists to write hard, graduate level reasoning problems for a biology benchmark. No coding. Contractor, remote. At least 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, with 4 hours overlap with US Pacific time. One month. What you will do: Write new graduate level life sciences problems based on real research. Write clear reference answers with sound reasoning. Interpret experiments, data, figures, sequences and structures. Check claims, calculations and conclusions. Hiring steps: interest form and an assessment.

Key requirements

• PhD, postdoc or similar research experience in the life sciences
• Deep expertise in at least one field, for example molecular biology, genetics, immunology or neuroscience
• Strong at interpreting experiments and data
• Strong scientific writing
• Publications or graduate teaching are a plus
