About the role
Abdulrahman Al Sumait University (SUMAIT) in Zanzibar seeks a University Bursar to lead its Finance and Accounts unit. The Bursar will manage the University's financial operations, accounts, budgets, and financial reporting. What you will do: Manage the day to day financial operations of the University, including revenue collection, payments, and payroll Prepare and monitor the University budget and give financial advice to management Prepare periodic and annual financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards Maintain proper books of account and effective internal financial controls Coordinate with internal and external auditors and supervise Finance and Accounts staff Location: Zanzibar.
