Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer – Data Science / AI - 2 Positions
About the role
Abdulrahman Al-Sumait University (SUMAIT) in Zanzibar seeks two Assistant Lecturers or Lecturers in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence for its Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences. The successful candidates will teach data science and AI courses, supervise students, and contribute to research and community service. Responsibilities: - Teach undergraduate courses in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning - Prepare lecture materials, practical sessions, and course outlines - Set, administer, and mark tests, assignments, projects, and examinations - Supervise and mentor students, including data science and AI projects - Conduct research and publish scholarly work in Data Science or AI, and take part in departmental and community service How to apply: Submit a detailed and updated CV, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, and the names and contact details (postal address, email, and phone number) of three non-relative referees.
