About the role

micro1 is a data lab that helps AI labs and companies train their models. You will use your professional expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems. No AI experience is needed; your domain knowledge is what matters. What you will do: Build reproducible environments that test AI models on fixing code, adding features and refactoring. Write golden reference solutions from real open source work. Open to engineers anywhere in the world. Pay: $50 to $100 an hour, paid per task (USD). Process: apply on micro1, answer the screening questions, then complete a short AI interview (about 20 minutes). Contract role, fully remote, flexible hours.

Key requirements

• Track record of open source contributions (GitHub profile preferred)
• Experience with large codebases and refactoring
• Python, Java, Rust, TypeScript or C++
