About the role
Delivers inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, supervisory, research, and clinical teaching services at Bugando Medical Centre in Mwanza. Responsibilities: - Attend to inpatients and outpatients. - Attend to inpatient and outpatient clinical issues. - Attend to emergency medical duties. - Conduct investigations of admitted patients. - Ensure that prescribed instructions are carried out. - Conduct minor operations. - Assist senior physicians and surgeons during operations. - Participate in service activities and major ward rounds. - Supervise medical students and interns in clinical duties. - Ensure that patients are properly prepared for surgery. - Participate in morning clinical sessions, patient presentations, and journal clubs. - Participate in research activities. - Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
