About the role
Abdulrahman Al Sumait University (SUMAIT) in Zanzibar seeks an Internal Auditor for its Internal Audit unit. The Internal Auditor will review the University's financial and operational controls and give independent assurance and advice to management. What you will do: Prepare and carry out the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment Review financial transactions, records, and internal controls for accuracy and compliance Assess compliance with University policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations, and follow up on their implementation Advise management on risk management and the improvement of internal controls Location: Zanzibar. Key requirements
- Professional qualification: CPA(T), ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
