About the role
We are looking for an on-the-ground B2B sales representative in Kenya to introduce an inventory management and stock-performance software platform to pharmacies and other retail businesses. This is a FIELD SALES role, not digital marketing. You must be physically based in Tanzania and comfortable visiting businesses in person, speaking directly with owners or managers, demonstrating the platform, and following up consistently with interested prospects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Visit pharmacies and selected retail businesses in person, Speak with owners, managers, or other decision-makers, Explain the value of the platform in a simple and practical way, Demonstrate the platform to interested businesses, Follow up after the first visit, Help interested businesses complete onboarding, Keep clear records of prospects, contacts, status, and next actions COMPENSATION This is primarily a performance-based role. Payment will be tied to verifiable successful onboardings rather than hours worked or the number of visits made. A successful onboarding means that a genuine business has registered, completed the necessary setup, and started using the platform with real business data. Additional compensation may be offered when onboarded businesses become paying customers. Exact milestone amounts and targets will be agreed with the selected freelancer before the contract begins.
