About the role
Provides professional nursing and health education services, supports clinical care and teaching, and uses hospital information systems at Bugando Medical Centre in Mwanza. Responsibilities: - Keep abreast of developments in the medical profession and related disciplines. - Provide health education to patients and their relatives. - Teach student nurses and/or medical students. - Visit patients at home and provide advice on primary healthcare. - Use the installed integrated hospital management information systems in all activities and reporting. - Communicate effectively internally and externally using information and communication technology. - Adhere to prescribed inpatient and outpatient treatment manuals and procedures. - Ensure that prescribed instructions are carried out. - Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor. Key requirements
- Professional nursing or midwifery practice.

- Teaching and mentoring student nurses or medical students.
- Use of integrated hospital management information systems and ICT.
- Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient treatment procedures.
- Completion of internship and registration with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
