Business Development Officer
About the role
Radiance Insurance Brokers Limited is seeking a Business Development Officer in Dar es Salaam to grow its insurance client base through sales, lead generation, product marketing and strong client relationships with corporate, SME, institutional and individual clients. Responsibilities: - Drive business development and sales of insurance products - Build and manage relationships with corporate, SME, institutional and individual clients - Market the company's insurance products and services - Generate leads and develop new markets - Prepare insurance quotations for clients - Achieve assigned sales targets - Conduct market research and competitor analysis - Handle policy renewals and cross-selling - Provide customer service and support clients with claims - Prepare and submit sales reports How to apply: Interviews are physical. Key requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Sales or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in insurance, brokerage, financial services or a related sales environment
- Strong sales, business development and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of insurance products
- Excellent communication, networking and relationship management skills
- Good reporting and digital literacy skills
- Experience with corporate, SME, institutional or individual clients is an advantage
- Must be based in or around Dar es Salaam
