Engineer Grade II - Mechanical - 3 Positions
About the role
We are looking to hire 3 Mechanical Engineers Grade II for the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) to assist in the repair, maintenance, design and inspection of power generation machines and mechanical systems. Responsibilities: - Assist in repair and maintenance of power generation machines. - Assist to plan, design, inspect and maintain all mechanical works in the Company. - Assist in designing, monitoring, inspecting, testing and diagnosing problems and causes in improving and maintaining mechanical systems. - Assist in developing and coordinating implementation of mechanical repair and maintenance plans. - Assist to carry out research/studies and recommend improvement of business process technologies and best practices in consideration of the changing technology environment. - Perform any other related duties from time to time as assigned by Supervisor. Key requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or relevant qualification from a recognized institution
- Registered as a Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
- Tanzanian citizen not above 45 years of age
- Public Service employees and retirees from the Public Service are not eligible
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or relevant qualification
- Registration as a Graduate Engineer with ERB
