About the role

Turing is a San Francisco based research accelerator for frontier AI labs. It needs HR and People Ops experts to ground AI tools in real HR practice: hiring pipelines, headcount plans, pay bands, leave rules and onboarding. Contractor, remote. 40 hours a week with 8 hours overlap with US Pacific time, part time considered. Up to 2 weeks. Weekend on call availability needed. What you will do: Set rules and guardrails for HR AI tools, for example PTO accrual and pay band midpoints. Check org charts, requisition lists and leave ledgers. Verify formulas, KPIs and dropdowns in headcount planners and hiring trackers. Review and sign off on peer work.

Key requirements

• 5+ years in HR, People Ops, Talent Acquisition or as an HRBP
• Hands on with ATS, headcount planning, pay bands and leave rules
• Able to turn HR policy into spreadsheet formulas and validation rules
• Peer review experience
• Own laptop and stable internet
