Process Plant Operator

About the role

Perseus Mining (Tanzania) Limited is seeking a Process Plant Operator to support the safe, efficient and effective operation of the process plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out daily plant operations, monitoring assigned processing circuits, performing operational checks and housekeeping, maintaining operational records, and promptly reporting plant performance and safety issues to Process Supervisors. Responsibilities: - Comply with company policies and procedures relating to safety, environment, health and community relations, and perform Take 5 / FLRA activities as required - Attend safety toolbox meetings and operational information sessions, and participate in shift handovers - Conduct day-to-day activities to ensure effective operation of the process plant - Work in various plant areas, including Crusher, Milling, Carbon-in-Leach (CIL), Elution, and Detox - Perform operational checks and housekeeping within the assigned processing circuit - Provide timely feedback to Process Supervisors on the performance of assigned plant sections and report any safety or operational concerns - Properly care for and maintain tools, operating equipment, materials, and PPE - Complete operational logs, reports, pre-start checks and handover notes accurately and on time - Maintain good attendance, comply with shift schedules, and work towards required shift KPIs How to apply: Applications should be submitted by email to perseus@globeconnect24-7.com on or before 19 October 2026. Key requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in gold processing plant operations
• Form Four Original Certificate or higher level of education
• Valid Tanzanian Driving Licence
• Equipment or machine operating certificate from a recognised training institution
• Certificate of training completion in process plant circuits
• Good understanding of process plant operations and assigned circuits
• Willingness to undertake additional external training to strengthen operational skills
