Commercial Analyst (Network & Distribution)
About the role
We are looking to hire a Commercial Analyst (Network & Distribution) for Karimjee in Dar es Salaam to focus on investment analysis, network or retail development analytics, corporate development, or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). What you will do: Develop site and venture business cases and analyse shared site costs and returns Prepare clear written recommendations and apply a rigorous approach to assumptions and post investment reviews Use approved AI tools for research, modelling, and investment cases, while verifying outputs against source evidence Conduct investment analysis, network or retail development analytics, corporate development, or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Location: Dar es Salaam. Key requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, or Business
- Strong financial modelling skills (DCF, IRR, Payback analysis, Sensitivity analysis)
- Ability to develop site and venture business cases and analyse shared site costs and returns
- Exposure to GIS or catchment analysis (advantage)
- Knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (advantage)
- Ability to prepare clear written recommendations and apply a rigorous approach to assumptions and post investment reviews
- Ability to use approved AI tools for research, modelling, and investment cases, while verifying outputs against source evidence
- 6+ years of experience in investment analysis, network or retail development analytics, corporate development, or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
