About the role

Mercor connects experts with leading AI labs to train and test frontier AI models. This is Mercor's standing pool for engineers with design or analysis experience who want AI training and evaluation work. New projects start often and are matched from this pool. Pay: USD 60 to 125 per hour. Part time, remote, set per project. What you will do: Write design problems from your own work, with a reference answer. Grade AI engineering analysis and assumptions. Flag answers that look right but would fail in real life.

Key requirements

• An engineering degree plus professional design or analysis experience
• Clear written communication
• Comfortable with unclear tasks and willing to flag them
