Mechanical Technician
About the role
We are looking to hire a Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize mechanical systems on production and packaging lines, lead preventive maintenance, and support the installation and improvement of machinery. This position is located in Moshi, Kilimanjaro. Responsibilities: - Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize mechanical systems on production and packaging lines. - Lead preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime. - Support the installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of production and packaging machinery. - Analyze equipment performance and breakdown trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and equipment reliability. Key requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, fillers, compressors, boilers, and utilities.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in FMCG, beverage, food manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
