Senior Agri-Machinery Technician
About the role
Jumla Africa is looking for Senior Agri-Machinery Technicians to supervise the mechanical team and ensure timely and efficient repairs of agricultural machinery. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the Agri-Machinery Mechanical Team to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance. - Diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors and other agricultural machinery. - Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. - Provide technical support and after-sales service to customers, including machinery troubleshooting and guidance. - Ensure proper use of spare parts, repair manuals, tools, and accurate recording of all maintenance and repair activities. Key requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 – 5 years working experience in agricultural machinery maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Strong super visionary and leadership skills.
- Effective communication skill both written and oral.
- Able to use initiative in prioritizing tasks.
- A computer literate especially on Excel, Word and fleet Management.
