Technician Grade II - Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) - 7 Positions
About the role
We are looking to hire 7 HVAC Technicians Grade II for the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) to install, operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Responsibilities: - Install, operate, maintain, test and repair heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. - Conduct routine inspection and servicing of HVAC equipment and systems. - Diagnose faults in compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, pumps, motors, controls and associated components. - Check and maintain refrigerant levels, pressure, temperature and other operating parameters. - Perform cleaning, replacement and adjustment of filters, belts, motors, fans and other HVAC components. - Participate in installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems. - Maintain records of HVAC inspections, servicing, repairs and equipment condition. - Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Key requirements
- National Technician Award (NTA) Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a relevant qualification from a recognized institution
- Computer literacy is mandatory
- Tanzanian citizen not above 45 years of age
- Public Service employees and retirees from the Public Service are not eligible
