Planning Officer
About the role
Abdulrahman Al Sumait University (SUMAIT) in Zanzibar seeks a Planning Officer for its Planning and Development unit. The Planning Officer will support strategic and operational planning, project planning, and the monitoring of University development plans. What you will do: Coordinate the preparation and review of the University's strategic plan and annual action plans Support the preparation of budgets and development project proposals in line with University plans Monitor and evaluate the implementation of plans and projects, and prepare progress reports Collect, analyse, and maintain institutional data and statistics for planning and decision making Liaise with University units and external stakeholders on planning and development matters Location: Zanzibar.
