Artisan Grade II - Electronics - 6 Positions
About the role
We are looking to hire 6 Electronics Artisans Grade II for the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) to install, maintain, test and repair electronic equipment, circuits and control systems. Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, repair and service electronic equipment and systems. - Assist in identifying and diagnosing faults in electronic circuits and equipment. - Test electronic components, circuits and equipment using appropriate testing instruments. - Replace defective electronic components and carry out basic circuit repairs. - Assist in installation and maintenance of control, monitoring and electronic systems. - Perform routine inspection of electronic equipment and report identified faults. - Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Key requirements
- Secondary Education Certificate
- VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Electronics or another relevant trade from a recognized vocational training institution
- Tanzanian citizen not above 45 years of age
- Public Service employees and retirees from the Public Service are not eligible
