About the role

Mercor connects experts with leading AI labs to train and test frontier AI models. It is working with an AI research lab to learn how people build with AI coding assistants. You do your normal work on your own project in a terminal coding assistant while the session is recorded. Non coders who build with AI are welcome. Pay: USD 500 per accepted session of about 50 turns (2 to 3 hours of work). Remote, flexible, immediate start. What you will do: Build or improve your own real project with the models provided. Pick and switch models as you naturally would. Use one chat per task.

Key requirements

• Actively building a real project, side project or startup
• Uses AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Replit or Lovable
• Comfortable with simple terminal setup on Mac or Linux
