About the role
Abdulrahman Al-Sumait University (SUMAIT) in Zanzibar seeks a Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Administration, Finance and Planning (DVC-AFP). The DVC-AFP will provide senior leadership for the University's administration, finance, human resources, and planning functions, and will report to the Vice Chancellor. Responsibilities: - Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the University's administration, finance, and planning functions - Oversee financial management, including budget preparation, resource mobilisation, and financial reporting - Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the University's strategic and development plans - Oversee human resources management, estates, procurement, and support services - Advise the Vice Chancellor and University governing bodies on administrative, financial, and planning matters How to apply: Submit a detailed and updated CV, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, and the names and contact details (postal address, email, and phone number) of three non-relative referees.
