Artificial Intelligence Business Analyst and Adoption
About the role
CRDB Bank Plc seeks an Artificial Intelligence Business Analyst and Adoption in the Data Management Office at its Tanzania Head Office, reporting to the Manager AI Portfolio Delivery. The role translates business needs into measurable AI requirements, and coordinates training, change and adoption so that staff use approved AI solutions effectively. Responsibilities: - Engage business teams to identify problems, current workflows, decision points and customer or staff needs before proposing AI solutions. - Distinguish AI needs from simpler reporting, rules or process improvements, and document feasible options with technical colleagues. - Prepare use-case intake, business requirements, user journeys and acceptance criteria with named business owners and intended users. - Document expected benefits, current baselines, costs and measurement assumptions with business owners and Finance. - Identify data requirements, source owners, access needs and quality gaps with data teams, and escalate unresolved dependencies. - Define human review, exception handling, escalation and customer-impact requirements with business and governance stakeholders. - Coordinate user acceptance tests, business scenarios, defects and business-owner sign-off. - Prepare change-impact assessments, communication plans, user guidance and training for approved AI and Microsoft Copilot use. - Measure active use, task completion, output quality, user satisfaction and process changes against agreed baselines. - Maintain a repository of approved AI use cases, lessons learned, adoption outcomes and best practices. Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation or Artificial Intelligence) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, change management, digital transformation, AI adoption, technology implementation or business process improvement.
- Certifications in Business Analysis, Change Management, Project Management, Agile, AI or Microsoft Copilot are an added advantage.
- Skills in requirements analysis, process mapping, user acceptance testing and stakeholder facilitation.
- Experience documenting business requirements, user stories, process maps, use cases, business cases and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, machine learning concepts and responsible AI principles.
- Experience preparing training materials and monitoring adoption; banking process knowledge is an advantage.
