Finance Manager
About the role
We are looking to hire a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting activities, financial control systems, and annual budgeting processes. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations, and managing risk and internal controls for Globotech in Dar es Salaam. Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting activities, financial control systems, and annual budgeting processes. - Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and ensure full compliance with local statutory tax regulations (TRA) and audits. - Maintain robust internal financial controls, manage corporate banking, cash flow, payroll, and conduct variance analyses for executive management. Key requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered with the relevant professional body
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial management or senior accounting roles
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of local statutory tax regulations (TRA) and audits
- Financial control systems
- Annual budgeting processes
- Corporate banking, cash flow, and payroll management
- Variance analyses
