Laboratory Technologist II
About the role
Provides laboratory testing and sample examination services at Bugando Medical Centre in Mwanza, including sample handling, equipment preparation, result recording, and patient record maintenance. Responsibilities: - Receive, extract, and record samples for laboratory examinations. - Prepare laboratory equipment and chemicals for tests and examinations. - Keep and maintain patient records. - Maintain a list of laboratory equipment in the department. - Conduct laboratory examinations of samples and record results under the supervision of a Senior Laboratory Technologist. - Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
