About the role

Mercor connects experts with leading AI labs to train and test frontier AI models. It is recruiting senior economists for a research project with a leading AI lab. Pay: USD 150 to 250 per hour. At least 10 hours a week, minimum 4 weeks. Remote. What you will do: Apply economics research expertise to AI training work. Help evaluate and improve model reasoning in economics.

Key requirements

• PhD in Economics
• 2+ years leading economics research at a top institution, for example World Bank, IMF, a central bank or a graduate school
