About the role

Provide geospatial analysis, mapping, spatial-data management and GIS support for environmental and social projects in Tanzania, working with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver accurate and practical project insights. Key requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Environmental Science or a related field
• 3–6 years of relevant GIS experience, preferably in environmental consulting, mining or natural-resource projects
• Strong proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS and sound knowledge of spatial databases and data-management principles
• Experience in spatial analysis, cartography, map production and geospatial quality assurance
• Understanding of coordinate reference systems, projections, metadata and spatial-data standards
• Ability to interpret technical information and present complex spatial findings clearly
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Good written and verbal communication skills
