About the role
Mercor connects experts with leading AI labs to train and test frontier AI models. This is Mercor's standing pool for licensed lawyers who want AI training and evaluation work. New projects start often and are matched from this pool. Pay: USD 100 to 150 per hour. Part time, remote, set per project. What you will do: Draft motions or briefs from fact patterns, with a reference answer. Grade AI drafted contracts and discovery work. Flag answers that look right but would fail in real life.
Key requirements
- An LLB, JD or LLM and a current licence to practise; litigation, transactional or regulatory experience
- Clear written communication
- Comfortable with unclear tasks and willing to flag them
