About the role

Mercor connects experts with leading AI labs to train and test frontier AI models. This is Mercor's standing pool for physicists who want AI training and evaluation work. New projects start often and are matched from this pool. Pay: USD 70 to 100 per hour. Part time, remote, set per project. What you will do: Write physics problems from your own area, with a reference answer. Grade AI derivations and numerical work. Flag answers that look right but would fail in real life.

Key requirements

• A graduate physics degree with research experience
• Clear written communication
• Comfortable with unclear tasks and willing to flag them
