Generalist, AI Research Support (must own an M series MacBook)
About the role
Mercor is hiring detail oriented people to support a research project with a leading AI lab. You will create research questions, answers and evaluation material used to benchmark and improve advanced AI models. Pay: USD 50 to 60 per hour. Hours: part time, about 10 to 20 hours a week, on your own schedule. Immediate start preferred. The work has clearly structured responsibilities without the pressure of an internship or full time consulting role. Key requirements
- Currently studying for or recently completed a Master's degree, or 2 to 3 years of relevant experience plus a Bachelor's from a strong university
- An Apple Silicon MacBook: an M series MacBook Pro, or a MacBook Air running macOS 15 or later
- Strong online research and communication skills
- Able to gather and clearly summarise information from many sources
- Excellent written communication
- An interdisciplinary degree is a plus
