RICH Hub Call for African Climate AI Innovators 2026

What it is

An expression of interest for climate AI innovations already being piloted in Africa. Selected innovations may get technical support, coaching, piloting chances, links to partners and possibly scaling grants of up to 200,000 US dollars. Sending the form does not guarantee selection or money.

Who can apply

African-led or Africa-based innovators, researchers, startups and organisations. The innovation must tackle a clear climate or environmental problem, make real use of AI or data, and be at pilot stage or beyond. Tanzania is not named, but the call covers all of Africa.

Applying is free. Never pay anyone to apply, to process an application or to promise a place: the provider's own site is the only application.

Check the full rules and the exact deadline on the provider's page before you apply. Mshahara is not part of the selection.
