About the role

Take overall charge of guest and staff food at &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge on a two year fixed term contract. You will set kitchen standards, create seasonal menus from produce in store, train and develop chefs, and run stock control, ordering and kitchen admin. The role also involves meeting guests, handling dietary needs and keeping close contact with the lodge manager and suppliers.

Key requirements

• Formal culinary qualification; At least 2 years of kitchen management experience, ideally in a 5 star operation; Ability to lead and motivate a team; Strong attention to detail under pressure; Good knowledge of lodge operations; Computer skills
