About the role

Plan, run and monitor workplace safety at Bulyanhulu Gold Mine so the operation meets occupational health and safety law and Barrick standards. You will carry out critical control checks, inspections and audits, coach staff on safe procedures, help with incident investigations and keep safety records and reports up to date. The role reports to the Safety Coordinator and supports a positive safety culture.

Key requirements

• NOSHC I and II; Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education or higher; Certificate IV in training and workplace assessment; 3 to 5 years of safety practice in mining, processing, construction or maintenance; Knowledge of the Tanzania OSH Act; Fluent English and Swahili; Valid driving licence and first aid training
