About the role
About the Role Raising The Village is looking for 4 Project Assistants in Kyerwa, Tanzania to implement RTV's community livelihood and poverty-reduction projects at village and household level. Reporting to the Project Officer, Project Assistants reside and work in the wards and travel extensively. Responsibilities Conduct project design review meetings with partner villages and provide feedback to update project designs and budgets before implementation Coordinate and co-facilitate trainings including financial literacy, WASH, village savings and loans associations, agriculture, livestock care and health outreaches Implement RTV's project methodologies to increase household income and reduce extreme poverty Develop lists of required goods and services and verify goods and inputs before distribution Conduct project follow-up and support community groups and households to ensure project compliance and continuation Develop and manage work plans and complete weekly field and financial reporting Provide feedback and recommendations to the Project Officer and program team to improve RTV's way of work Requirements University degree in Community Development, Project Management, Project Planning, Development Studies, Social Work and Social Administration or related fields Minimum of 2 years of work experience in community development programs, project management, facilitation and leadership or related fields Strong training and facilitation skills Strong verbal and written English communication and fluency in local languages (Kiswahili, Kinyambo and Kihaya) Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Physically able to hike high terrain and travel most of the time Find the gaps before the employer does We check your resume against every requirement in this posting, then show you what to fix.
