About the role

Watu, an asset financing fintech that funds motorcycles for boda boda riders, needs a Sales Manager at its Tanzania head office in Dar es Salaam. The manager leads sales supervisors and officers across regions, sets sales plans and tracks KPIs to hit country targets. The job also covers building relationships with motorcycle suppliers, dealers and rider leaders, running campaigns and roadshows, and reporting results to management. Regular travel to branches and field locations is expected.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field; at least 5 years of sales experience, ideally in financial services, FMCG or telecoms; proven record of leading and managing a large sales team; good knowledge of retail, sales, marketing and customer service; comfortable with Google Workspace and similar tools; strong leadership, communication and analytical skills; willingness to travel and work in different locations
