About the role

TechnoServe's East and West Africa team is hiring a manager to grow its pipeline of new programmes across seven countries, including Tanzania. The role covers donor research, concept notes and full proposal development, coordinating dispersed proposal teams and tracking opportunities in Salesforce. It can be based in Dar es Salaam, following the hybrid office schedule, or worked remotely from an approved country.

Key requirements

• 7 years of international development experience with a Bachelor's, or 5 years with a Master's; at least 3 years in business development with a record of winning proposals; knowledge of the donor landscape in East and West Africa; strong writing and presentation skills; ability to manage several tasks under pressure; fluent English, French highly desirable; must be based in and authorised to work in an eligible country such as Tanzania
