About the role
About the Role Leads and continuously improves the Information Technology function across Africa Global Logistics Tanzania Limited, ensuring reliable, secure, cost-effective, and business-aligned IT services, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, continuity, vendor management, and user support. Responsibilities Develop and implement the annual IT roadmap in alignment with business priorities and Group IT strategy. Ensure compliance with Group cybersecurity standards, IT policies, and delegated authorities. Prepare quarterly reports on IT performance, risks, and investments. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure and business-critical systems. Manage networks, internet connectivity, servers, cloud platforms, backup systems, and telecommunications. Support business continuity and the reliability of essential IT services. Support compliance with data privacy requirements and information security policies. Contribute to IT risk management and the protection of business information assets. Establish and monitor service levels for IT support. Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and business-critical disruptions. Improve the end-user experience through clear support processes and effective communication. Build a responsive, customer-focused, and service-oriented IT culture. Lead the implementation of business applications and approved IT projects. Prioritise IT support and project resources according to business criticality. Drive continuous improvement in IT services and technology solutions. Manage relationships with telecommunications providers, software vendors, hardware suppliers, and IT service partners. Facilitate collaboration between business teams, local IT, Regional IT, and Group IT. Requirements Strategic thinking and business partnership. Cybersecurity and risk management.
