About the Role We are looking to hire a hands-on Solar Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, install and commission solar photovoltaic and solar water heating systems across safari lodges in Northern Tanzania. Responsibilities Maintain, inspect and repair solar photovoltaic systems and solar water heating systems. Troubleshoot technical issues involving solar panels, inverters, batteries, pumps and electrical connections. Install, test and commission new solar systems across existing and upcoming properties. Communicate directly with international manufacturers to resolve technical challenges. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliable, efficient and safe energy systems. Travel between safari lodges to support maintenance operations and new installations. Requirements Technical qualification in solar technology, electrical installation, renewable energy or a related field. Practical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries and solar water heating systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and installation specifications. Good English communication skills. Valid driving licence.
