About the role

LILT is recruiting Oromo linguists as remote independent contractors for software, marketing and retail localization projects. Linguists adapt interfaces, help content and campaigns so they read naturally for Oromo speakers and work with LILT production and quality leads. Hours are flexible.

Key requirements

Native level Oromo; degree in translation or linguistics, or another degree plus 2 years of full time translation, or 5 years of full time translation; experience with UI, marketing or ecommerce localization; app or web localization experience preferred
