Packaging Process Operator
About the role
About the Role Operates, monitors, and maintains packaging process equipment at AB InBev’s Mbeya facility to achieve safe and efficient operations, optimal equipment effectiveness, product quality, and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities Carry out brand pack changes Perform autonomous maintenance Regularly check equipment to ensure correct setup and operation Monitor process performance Support the development, training, and coaching of operational teams Assist with problem-solving processes related to the specific process area Provide knowledge in continuous improvement activities aimed at improving process capability Coach and assess staff as required Maintain a safe and healthy work environment Requirements Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Strong technical aptitude and mechanical awareness Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Vigilance and ability to respond quickly to operational issues Manual dexterity and attention to detail Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Effective communication and coaching ability Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement High accountability and reliability Proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing Ability to work shifts Competence on at least two packaging machines One check before you apply We compare your resume to this job description and show you what is missing.
