About the Role Mixx by Yas, the mobile financial services business of AXIAN Group in Tanzania, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Accountant in Dar es Salaam to manage supplier payments and payables records. Responsibilities Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time in line with company policies. Reconcile supplier statements and accounts payable ledgers, resolving discrepancies. Ensure proper documentation, approvals and tax compliance (including withholding tax and VAT) for all payments. Support month-end and year-end closing, accruals and audit requests. Maintain supplier master data and respond to supplier queries. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or ACCA (or progress towards it) is an advantage. At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Good knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations and accounting standards (IFRS). Experience with ERP/accounting systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills. High attention to detail, integrity and good organisational skills. Does your resume prove you can do this job?
