About the role
About the Role Raising The Village is seeking a Logistics Officer based in Bukoba, Kagera, to manage warehouse operations, fleet and motorbike utilization, fuel reconciliations, logistics data, and program material distributions, with approximately 50% field travel. Responsibilities Oversee the storage, movement, and issuance of program equipment, materials, and seeds. Maintain precise inventory records and perform physical stock reconciliations. Coordinate vehicle allocations, fuel consumption, and routine maintenance for vehicles and motorbikes. Manage contracted service providers and review job cards and invoices. Track and analyze fuel usage patterns, prepare reconciliation reports, investigate consumption variances, and resolve field-level discrepancies. Plan and execute the transport of supplies to project sites. Conduct field verification visits to audit stock, assets, and operational needs. Centralize and analyze fleet, fuel, warehouse, and inventory data. Prepare periodic management reports and highlight operational trends. Maintain up-to-date logistics documentation to support internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. Requirements Strong data analytics capabilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Logistics database management skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage vehicle and motorbike fleets. Ability to analyze fuel consumption and logistics data.
