About the role

Manage accounts receivable and credit control for the Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel so that debts are collected on time and cash flow stays healthy. You will review credit applications, watch customer credit limits, reconcile accounts, resolve billing queries and prepare debtor ageing and collection reports. The role works across departments to settle payment issues and suggests ways to cut bad debts.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field; CPA (T), ACCA or similar is an advantage; At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in hospitality; Good knowledge of credit management and receivables; Skill with accounting software; Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
