About the role
Lionbridge keeps an open sign up for remote freelance phone interpreters in every language it supports, which covers more than 350 languages. Interpreters handle short three way calls for legal, healthcare and government clients and are contacted when work in their language pair is available. Calls mostly run during US business hours.
Key requirements
- Strong spoken skills in two or more languages such as Swahili and English; must pass a language assessment; good memory and note taking; quiet remote workspace; about 16 hours a week suggested; interpreting experience is a plus but not required
