About the Role Raising The Village is looking for an Assistant Venn Officer , Data Collection & Integrity to support the quality and integrity of field data collection in Tanzania by refining and testing data collection tools, supporting field enumerators and helping plan survey resources. The role reports to the Venn Officer , Data Collection & Integrity and involves up to 70% travel. Responsibilities Support refining and enhancing data collection instruments and conduct pre-rollout testing of tools Monitor field data collection activities to ensure quality and integrity Support the training of field enumerators and provide technical assistance to field data collection teams Troubleshoot technical issues related to data collection instruments and processes Assist in developing and executing survey resource plans, including enumerator allocation and survey timelines Act as focal person for inventory management at unit level Leverage technological solutions to improve data collection processes Requirements Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Monitoring & Evaluation or related subjects At least 2 years of proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in development projects or non-profit organizations Understanding of mobile data collection platforms such as SurveyCTO, CommCare, Survey123, ODK or SurveySolutions Proficiency in statistical packages such as Stata and SPSS and excellent spreadsheet skills Excellent written communication and facilitation skills Detail-oriented and well-organized, able to work independently and in a team Many people will apply.
