About the role
Let’s grow together, become our Field Operations Technician – Region Diagnose and repair reactive faults within target response and repair times and confirm service restoration with the Network Operations Centre (NOC). Key responsibilities: - Execute preventive maintenance rounds on regional OSP and wireless infrastructure according to schedule. - Execute preventive maintenance rounds on regional OSP and wireless infrastructure according to schedule. - Diagnose and repair reactive faults within target response and repair times and confirm service restoration with the Network Operations Centre (NOC). - Escalate faults beyond individual capability, or requiring specialist/contractor support, promptly. - Escalate faults beyond individual capability, or requiring specialist/contractor support, promptly. - Support subscriber installation and support/maintenance work in the region as directed by the Technical Ops Manager. Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field.

- 1–3 years’ experience in telecom field maintenance, installation, or a related technical trade.

- Valid driver’s/rider’s license where regional travel is required.

- Self-reliant field technician, comfortable working with limited direct supervision in a regional setting.
