About the Role Raising The Village is looking for 2 Project Managers to serve as district-level operational leads in Tanzania, delivering a full cluster portfolio of RTV's integrated graduation model to performance, cost and timeline targets. Reporting to the Head of Program Implementation, the role involves up to 80% travel across rural areas. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end implementation of RTV's integrated model across assigned clusters in line with approved project designs and operating procedures Maintain delivery against quarterly and annual targets and deploy corrective action plans for implementation risks Serve as RTV's primary district-level liaison with local government authorities and align implementation calendars with district plans Directly supervise Project Officers and conduct weekly performance reviews and mid-term and annual evaluations Review dashboard metrics and field data to identify underperforming indicators and ensure accurate, timely reporting Manage district-level budgets, monitor expenditure burn rates and oversee procurement, store and inventory management Oversee district office operations, logistics and documentation and compliance files Support recruitment and onboarding of new field staff as the program scales Requirements Bachelor's degree in Project Planning & Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Community Development or related fields; a master's or Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management is an added advantage Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in program implementation, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role Proven ability to manage budgets and maintain cost discipline Experience working within or alongside district-level government systems Strong written and verbal English and proficiency in Kiswahili Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems, and ability to travel up to 80% of the time How to apply Apply online through the Raising The Village careers portal by opening the vacancy page below and selecting Apply to position. https://raisingthevillage.breezy.hr/p/1acee062db1c01-project-manager-2-vacancies-tz Apply for this job
