About the role
About the Role Raising The Village is looking for a Program Coordinator in Tanzania to define, coordinate and implement initiatives that support programmatic activities and organizational priorities. Reporting to the Head of Program Implementation, the role works with national and regional leadership, District Heads, government institutions and communities, and involves up to 80% travel. Responsibilities Support program planning and implementation Review and track work plans and weekly progress reports, identifying risks, issues and timeline adherence Provide weekly summary reporting to the Program Manager on key program priorities and escalations Track and review financial reports and support District Heads with budget monitoring and reporting compliance Provide program updates for donors and contribute feedback to project designs and methodologies Review and suggest edits to all district reports before submission Facilitate program reviews across districts and coordinate RTV programmatic workshops and trainings Provide administrative support including recruitment and onboarding of new program staff Requirements University degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Project Planning and Development, Community Development or related fields; a master's or Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management is an added advantage Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience Experience in project design, budgeting and project management Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel Strong verbal and written English; Swahili is essential Strong training and facilitation skills and ability to travel 80% of the time Does your resume prove you can do this job?
